Feature Updates
Porsche takes the opportunity to expand its roster of driver assistance systems across the Cayenne lineup with a series of innovative additions. The 2019 Porsche Cayenne gains a head-up display, becoming the first Porsche ever to brandish the windshield-projected display. The HUD offers important driving information right in the driver’s line of vision, reducing time spent glancing away from the road. With the new set of intelligent matrix LED headlights, the Cayenne can control which bulbs are lit to shadow oncoming vehicles from headlight glare or highlight potential hazards like pedestrians or wildlife.
Other new features now available on the 2019 Porsche Cayenne include Porsche InnoDrive with adaptive cruise control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, massage seats and 22-inch light metal wheels.
In both the 2019 and the 2018 Cayenne, electrically adjustable grille shutters can open or close to minimize drag or enhance engine cooling. The difference is that all four grille openings feature active shutters in the new Cayenne as opposed to just one in the 2018 model. Even the spoiler on the new model is active, staying retracted in Eco mode and lifting 0.8 inches in Performance mode for enhanced precision. In Sport Plus mode, the spoiler pops up an additional 0.8 inches.
