What Do We Know About the 2022 Porsche Macan So Far?
Not too long ago, Porsche announced that its incredibly popular Macan would be receiving some tweaks for the 2022 model year. While we are yet to find out more about these upgrades, let us have a look at all that we know so far about the 2022 Porsche Macan.
Under the Hood of the 2022 Porsche Macan
One of the primary reasons Porsche enthusiasts are going gaga over the 2022 Porsche Macan is that the 2022 model year offers trim levels that are more powerful and exquisite than the last year’s model. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that comes on the base trim makes about 295 lb-ft of torque. Plus, the terrific Sport Chrono package includes launch control and allows the Macan to go from zero to 60 mph in about 5.8 seconds.

The Macan GTS, according to Porsche, takes only 4.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph and has an upgraded 2.6-liter V6. The GTS Sport package, in addition to the carbon-fiber veneers on the inside, also includes summer performance tires and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus.
How Much Do these Upgrades Come for?
As enticing as these upgrades are, one thing to note here is that they are not free. To provide an overview, the base trim is just a tad expensive than its 2021 counterpart. However, the S and GTS trims are a little more expensive than last year’s equivalent models. With respect to price, the 2022 Macan S ranges between 2021 S and GTS. Also, the price of the 2022 Macan GTS lies somewhere between the 2021 GTS and Turbo models. You can also look at the Porsche-National Program to find a deal suitable for you.
Interiors of the 2022 Porsche Macan
The 2022 Porsche Macan seems to abide by the newest design philosophy, better described as the “waterfall-of-haptic buttons.” While the haptic touch panel might not go down well with most car enthusiasts, rest assured that these controls are clustered under logical and reasonable umbrellas.
The 2022 Porsche Macan is clearly the better choice when compared with its 2021 equivalents. However, these upgrades, as discussed earlier, come at a price. Schedule a test drive at Porsche Colorado Springs or contact our representatives to learn more about this beautiful beast!
