This ‘Bad Boys’ returned, blending intense action with their signature humor. But this time, there was a twist—Miami’s finest are now fugitives. Fans have witnessed Detective Mike Lowrey, played by Will Smith, behind the wheel of a sleek black 911 Turbo S Coupe, complete with its iconic rear spoiler.

“For nearly three decades, the Porsche 911 has helped create the bond between the iconic ‘Bad Boys’ Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett,” says Dominique Tascioglu, Brand & Content Marketing Manager at Porsche. Ayesha Coker, Vice President of Marketing for Porsche Cars North America, adds, “Through them, Porsche enthusiasts have been created and inspired around the world. Thank you to Bruckheimer Films and Sony for their passion and belief throughout the years – it’s been an incredible experience to be part of, and we’re excited to see the latest 911 Turbo S in “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”.

Coker also added a nostalgic treat for fans by featuring the original ‘Bad Boys’ car, the 911 Turbo type 964, in a brief cameo in the new film. This nod to the franchise’s roots surely delighted longtime followers.

Even back then, a Porsche was part of the action. Director Michael Bay selected a black 964-generation 911 Turbo 3.6 from his collection for the movie. The car’s sleek design and powerful performance made it an unforgettable part of the film.
