s. The roof tent, which weighs 58 kg in total, can support up to 140 kg on 911, Taycan, and Cayenne Coupe models and 190 kg on bigger Taycan Cross Turismo, Macan, Cayenne SUV, and Taycan Sport Turismo models. A skylight window, two side windows, an elevated reclining position, an insect screen, and a blackout screen are all characteristics of the tent itself. The tent’s floor also contains a high-density polyfoam mattress and a quilted lining for a cozy night’s sleep.
The sleek rigid container that houses the new Porsche Tequipment two-person roof tent was created at Porsche’s performance-focused Weissach Development Center to be more aerodynamic than the typical Overlanding arrangement. The tent has insulated quilted lining in a light grey color, water-resistant zips, a rain cover for the entrance, two side windows, and a roof window, making it suitable for all weather conditions. The supple tent walls are constructed from a breathable cotton blend, and the two side windows can be unzipped to allow for good airflow while keeping the standard see-through netting in place to keep mosquitoes away.
