Porsche Cayenne GTS Improves Performance
For the 2021 model year the Porsche Cayenne GTS is returning to its roots and bringing back a V8 engine, replacing the twin-turbo V6 that was found in the previous generation. A twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine will sit below the hood of the Cayenne GTS and manufacture 453 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. This Porsche will take drivers from zero to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds when equipped with the Sport Chrono Package and will reach a top speed of 168 mph.
The Cayenne GTS features an engine that is nearly identical to the Cayenne Turbo and its growl will show off the power beneath the hood. This Porsche lineup will include only an eight-speed automatic transmission across the board.
2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS Design Updates
This Cayenne GTS lineup will sit lower to the ground and will ride on standard 21-inch wheels. A specially-tuned exhaust system will come standard in Cayenne GTS models and the coupe variations will feature an even more specialized system. Cayenne GTS coupe models will offer a sports exhaust system that features two large exhaust pipes near the center of the vehicle. The Cayenne GTS will be detailed with black accents, from the dark-tinted front and rear lights to blacked-out logos to all-black wheels.
