They have rigorously tested the Porsche 911 under the most challenging conditions imaginable. From the icy roads of the Arctic to the scorching heat of Dubai, the new 911 has proven its mettle in every environment.

Testing the New Porsche 911

The new 911 hybrid has clocked over 3.1 million miles during its development, ensuring it meets the high standards expected of a Porsche. This extensive testing has occurred on racetracks, country roads, and city traffic, demonstrating the hybrid system’s versatility and durability. Whether navigating the hairpin turns of mountain passes or handling the stop-and-go traffic of urban environments, the 911 hybrid has consistently delivered top-tier performance.  

One of the most exciting aspects of the new Porsche 911 hybrid is its ability to enhance the driving experience through its performance-focused hybrid system. This isn’t just about adding an electric motor for better fuel economy; it’s about using hybrid technology to make the 911 even faster and more responsive. The result is a car that offers improved efficiency and greater acceleration and handling. 

During performance testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, one of the world’s most demanding race tracks, the new 911 hybrid set an impressive benchmark. Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister completed a lap in 7:16.934 minutes, making the new model 8.7 seconds faster than its predecessor. This feat was achieved on standard road tires, with the optional aero kit providing additional downforce at high speed.
