2020 Porsche Taycan 4S Performance Specs & Premium Features

It hasn’t been very long since the Porsche brand introduced us to their brand-new electric sports car the 2020 Taycan, but now they’ve already expanded their electric sports range even further by introducing a third trim level for the model. Following in the footsteps of the Taycan S and Taycan Turbo, the Taycan 4S promises to deliver even more performance. With that in mind, we figured we’d highlight some of those specs as well as a few of the premium features that will be available when the model becomes available.

Powertrain Options

The 2020 Taycan 4S will be available with two different electric powertrain setups. The first is the Performance battery, which will generate 523 horsepower, consume 24.6 kWh/100 km power and emit 0 g/km CO2 emissions. The upper-level option is the Performance battery Plus, which generates 563 horsepower, consumes 25.6 kWh/100 km power and emits 0 g/km CO2 emissions. Regardless of battery choice, your Taycan 4S will be capable of accelerating from 0-62 miles per hour in 4 seconds flat and hit a top speed of 155 mph.

When it comes to range, the standard Performance battery will achieve a maximum range of 253 miles thanks to its 79.2 kWh total power capacity, while the Performance battery Plus achieves a range of 288 miles with 93.4 kWh. This is the highest range of the Taycan lineup thus far. As for charging, the peak capacity is 225 kW or 270 kW respectively.

Luxury Features

As for some of the premium content found throughout the vehicle, the Taycan 4S offers a few features that set it apart from the other trim levels. This content includes things like the 19” Aero wheels, red-painted brake calipers, unique front apron and black side sills and rear diffuser. In addition, the Taycan 4S will come standard with LED headlights featuring Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus.
